While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off. – Acts 13:2

The pastors & the congregation of 3:16 Church will begin a 21-Day Fast from 8th February to 28th February and we would like to invite you to join us.

2017 is a year of Messianic Miracles! While I believe that God’s people must move in the supernatural realm, it is important to note that we are not called to follow after miracles but to follow Christ, the Messiah. When we follow Christ, miracles & blessings will follow us! Miracles and blessings are the by-products and not the focus!

So we must continue to come to God & to ‘drink deeply’ of His love and to soak in His presence. I want to encourage you to take some time during this 21-Days to go to a seaside or be by a river. Ask God to outwork the pouring & the power of the Holy Spirit (the river of living waters) in our lives!

Prayer and fasting is a biblical practice that will gives us a greater opportunity to focus on the Lord and to find extra time and energy to pray and hear God’s voice and experience His presence. Here are some examples of fasting in the Bible:
